Chilli Heat is Hot in Hamilton.

After 3 nights of rolling, pitching, howling, lurching, hogging, sagging, lolling and yawing with very little snoring and plenty of swearing, bitching and weeping, we are now safely ensconced at Hamo (as us locals call it) in a berth. In saying that all wind encountered for the whole journey was from South.
Children arrive here on Friday so two peaceful days are envisaged. All are fit with no tell tale evidence of "mal der mere". Although one crew member has been all over the Sturgeron like a fat kid on a smartie.

Hamilton Island was our Mecca. The pilgrimage is complete. The Hagg is attained. Don't know if this entitles the skipper to 40 virgins but if it does payment sure as he'll won't be gained on Hamilton Island (as out of towners call it). Now all we have to do is explore the Whitsundays and try and figure out which way is south.
