Nelson Bay. Port Stephens.
Nice sail up Monday, took about 11 hours. Lined up by a couple of coal vessels off Newcastle but enforced my stand on status and managed to respectfully dodge them. Interesting weather. Saw waterspout, reefs in and out all day. Rain was so heavy coming in virtually had to do instrument landing. Chilli beef for dinner. Bed at 7:30 in a very rolly, blowy Nelson Bay after 3:00am start. Sleep is difficult when you are being catapulted around. Will go to Fame Cove today for better protection. It is still raining.
